Important Information for the Pitch Competition + Entrepreneur Showcase:

ProsperUS Detroit is excited to host a pitch competition at the organization’s annual celebration of neighborhood entrepreneurship. Three (3) ProsperUS Graduates or Training Participants will have three (3) minutes to present their business and their need for the prize money to a panel of judges from the Detroit entrepreneurship community. Following each presentation, the judges will have three (3) minutes to ask questions about the entrepreneur’s business and presentation. The pitch competition and evening’s festivities are made possible through the generosity of Fifth Third Bank.

1st Place: $3000
2nd Place: $2000
3rd Place: $1000

Over the last five years, ProsperUS Detroit has trained over 600 entrepreneurs, worked with over 200 small businesses through business services and workshops, and provided loans to over 25 businesses. Working with neighborhood entrepreneurs and community organizations is an honor and a privilege, and we want to take this opportunity to showcase entrepreneur businesses to other entrepreneurs, community organizations, program funders, and community stakeholders. This showcase is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to talk about their business, gain exposure, and network with other entrepreneurs in the city.
