Creative Futures is a 10-session business development program designed to help Detroit’s creative entrepreneurs build the knowledge, systems, and confidence they need to grow and sustain their businesses. This program is presented by ProsperUs Detroit in partnership with Design Core Detroit, and powered by the Gilbert Family Foundation.

Whether you’re a designer, visual artist, writer, musician, performer, filmmaker, photographer, or creative maker, Creative Futures gives you practical tools to turn your creative work into a stronger, more sustainable business.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

Creative Futures is designed for Detroit-based creative entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least one year and are generating revenue through their creative products, services, or artistic practice.

The program is a fit for thise ready to:

  • Strengthen the business side of their creative practice
  • Build more effective systems and processes
  • Gain greater clarity around pricing, finances, and growth
  • Develop stronger approaches to marketing and sales
  • Address current business challenges with practical strategies
