Our training program is 12 to 16 weeks long, and it will build your understanding of business concepts, assist in the completion of key elements of a business plan, and support learning about financials.

Selected participants meet with their trainer and a small class about once per week to work on business fundamentals. Each session meets for two hours. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to connect with their trainer for up to 10 hours of one-on-one coaching. These sessions allow you to get more personalized feedback and support.

Applicants must live in Inkster and own or intend to start for-profit businesses. Although we prioritize operational businesses, we may also accept experienced and focused applicants who are working on an idea.

We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2023 cohorts in Inkster.

Applications will be open until 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2023.

We will review applications and contact those selected for a brief interview after applications close. Those who do not receive invitations to interview will also be notified at that time. To enhance the safety of participants, trainers, community partners, and staff, we are conducting interviews via Zoom at this time.
