A Business Born from Healing
Entrepreneurship wasn’t part of Tiara B.A.’s original plan. With a stable career in the automotive industry, her path seemed clear, until necessity shifted everything.
After experiencing a severe skin breakout that traditional medical treatments couldn’t resolve, Tiara began searching for answers. That moment became more than a health challenge; it became a turning point in her purpose. Determined to understand her own skin, she enrolled in esthetician school.
What started as self-care quickly grew into something more. With encouragement from an instructor who recognized her potential before she did, Tiara began to see the impact she could have on others. From that realization, Esthi Queen was born.
Like many entrepreneurial journeys, Esthi Queen began at home, in Tiara’s dining room, where she built a loyal clientele through results, trust, and word-of-mouth. Within a year, the business grew from under $1,000 in revenue to six figures.
Today, Esthi Queen has evolved beyond skincare. It is rooted in restoration, addressing not only physical concerns but also emotional and mental well-being.
Rooted in Resilience
Behind the growth of Esthi Queen is a deeply personal story of resilience.
Tiara experienced the trauma of a miscarriage, followed by postpartum depression that lasted several years. During that time, she felt pressure to maintain the image of a “strong woman,” often hiding her personal struggles while continuing to show up for her clients.
Over time, she realized that hiding her truth was limiting both her personal healing and her business. Embracing her full experience allowed her to connect more deeply with the women she serves. It strengthened her sense of purpose.
Through Esthi Queen, Tiara has created spaces where women feel seen, restored, and supported. Her work has expanded to include conversations around the “mother wound,” helping women process experiences that are often left unspoken.
Her reach has also grown through digital platforms. As a co-author of Modern-Day High Priestess: Reclaiming Our Ancient Authority as Spiritual Leaders in Today’s World, and through her YouTube channel TeeSpeakz, where she hosts Boss Talk with the Queen, Tiara shares beauty insights, personal reflections, and life advice with a growing audience. Her presence online has connected her with thousands, opening doors to brand partnerships and broader influence.
An Ecosystem of Support
Tiara’s connection to ProsperUs Detroit came during a period of transition.
After returning to Michigan from the West Coast, she was introduced to ProsperUs through her community engagement work and decided to join the Entrepreneur Training Program cohort in the fall of 2023. What she found was alignment, support, and community.
Through the program, Tiara gained tools to strengthen the operational side of her business, along with access to funding, technical assistance, and a network of entrepreneurs navigating similar paths.
That experience shifted her perspective. Entrepreneurship, she realized, is not about doing everything alone; it’s about knowing who to turn to and building alongside others.
Today, Esthi Queen stands as both a business and a platform. As a consultant and wellness strategist, Tiara leads high-performing women and teams through her signature EQ Experience™, a guided session designed to restore alignment and strengthen emotional intelligence. Her vision of generational wealth extends beyond finances—it centers stability, well-being, and the creation of spaces that support others long-term.
