Complete this form to apply for the Woventures Accelerator, a 12-week fashion, textile, and jewelry business program hosted by ProsperUs Detroit and D’Artillery.

Do you sew clothes, stitch jewelry, or make colorful fabrics? Woventures is a 12-week program in Hamtramck just for women who want to earn money from their craft. Every Thursday evening, participants will gain the skills to:

Learn foundational business skills like pricing, online selling, and telling your brand story.
Work with friendly coaches who guide you step by step.
Use D’Artillery’s studio machines to finish products you can start selling.

All participating businesses will have the opportunity to utilize one-on-one business coaching, and will get an opportunity to speak with local, established business owners and entrepreneurs.

The program is open to ProsperUs grads, borrowers, and other entrepreneurs in Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, and Inkster.

We are currently accepting applications until 11:59 PM on August 10, 2025. We will review applications and contact those selected for a brief interview after applications close. If you are interested in attending an information session to learn more about the program, please register here.

Who can apply?

Women who sew, make clothes, textiles, or jewelry and live in Hamtramck, Highland Park, Detroit, or nearby can apply. We especially welcome immigrant, refugee, and Muslim women.

When and where are the classes?

We meet on Thursdays, 6–8 p.m., from September 4 to November 20 at D’Artillery’s studio in Hamtramck.

How much does it cost?

Woventures is free. Your tuition, studio time, and materials for class projects are covered by ProsperUs and D’Artillery.
