We had an incredible time hosting entrepreneurs, community stakeholders, and advocates at this year’s annual event, so we wanted to create another opportunity for our partners and participants to come together and celebrate. Join us as we host an exciting pitch competition following a showcase and strolling dinner featuring many of our Entrepreneur Training Graduates and Participants.

Important Information for the Pitch Competition + Entrepreneur Showcase:
ProsperUS Detroit is excited to host a pitch competition at the organization’s first fall celebration of neighborhood entrepreneurship. Three (3) ProsperUS Graduates or Training Participants will have three (3) minutes to present their business and their specific need for the prize money to a panel of judges from the Detroit entrepreneurship community. Following each presentation, each judge may ask one questions about the entrepreneur’s business and presentation.
Prizes:
1st Place: $3000
2nd Place: $2000
3rd Place: $1000

Over the last five years, ProsperUS Detroit has trained over 850 entrepreneurs, worked with over 200 small businesses through business services and workshops, and provided loans to over 30 businesses. Working with neighborhood entrepreneurs and community organizations is an honor and a privilege, and we want to take this opportunity to showcase entrepreneur businesses to community organizations and stakeholders, program funders, and other entrepreneurs. This showcase is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to talk about their business, gain exposure, and network with other entrepreneurs in the city.
